Is a Vietnamese American biochemist who flew aboard NASA Space Shuttle mission STS-50 as a Payload Specialist, becoming the first Vietnamese American astronaut in space and the second Vietnamese in space (after cosmonaut Phạm Tuân).

Was an English guitarist, best known as the co-founder and guitarist of the rock band Free.

In 2010, he was ranked number 51 in Rolling Stone's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time".
